Of the two teams I have been in, they have both been very inclusive, and non-egocentric. Everyone is treated as an equal and everyone's opinion is heard. Outside of office hours, drinks are held every Friday night for us graduates to blow off steam and the team that you're in will also have functions from time to time.

My managers have been excellent and have really made it a priority to mentor me. I also have a separate mentor, this is encouraged. Both are great with feedback and advice.

Largely open plan. The locations (in the city) are close to train stations and food/shops. Kitchens and milk/tea/coffee are available on the floors, as well as areas for socialising. The dress code varies but is usually business casual.

I was offered a graduate position because I performed well as an intern. For interviewing for an intern role there were online assessments like cognitive ability and emotional intelligence/business etiquette. Then a video interview: Questions showed up on the screen you had to record a response. Finally an in-person interview.

Access to training platforms is provided, and formal training is often offered. Informal training is easily accessible, and it is usually easy to request time to spend doing self-learning if relevant to the job.

While most people work standard hours, there is a lot of flexibility. It's possible to start and end earlier or later if you need to and it's quite easy to work from home as well. The expectation is that you produce the work required of you; the exact number of hours worked less important.

This is very important to the company and the company had pledged to be carbon neutral by 2050.
