Very little specific job training and most engineer/operational staff are reluctant to cultivate and train new employees for job security reasons

They have many training programs and allow for time off to complete them
Graduate, Melbourne - 22 Jan 2020
Lots of opportunities to take on new certifications and be funded for them, or take on self-learning courses through LinkedIn learning or internally designed courses

Great training on the intranet and opportunity to frequently go to offsite courses

Training can be something that is done better across the organisation. Formal training programs occur; however, it will be better for more informal training too. For example, buddying with another individual, shadowing senior leaders etc.

comprehensive informal training with access to LinkedIn learning, Pluralsight and Udemy. Pretty good formal training as well.

Just directed to eLearning modules. The rest I have just taught myself. Fake it till you make it sort of thing.
Graduate, Sydney - 22 Jan 2020
Free access to LinkedIn learning (Lynda) and tonnes of modules you can complete on-demand. Lots of regular workshops that you can attend for certain things such as agile workshops and new ways of working.

I've been on Software Defined Networking and programming courses, on top of the web-based offerings for different technologies as well as soft skills. There are also information security training opportunities.
Graduate, Melbourne - 22 Jan 2020
Formal training within Finance has been relatively absent. Additional learning opportunities are largely the responsibility of individuals themselves.

The graduate program provided some meaningful workshops over the course of 18 months. But beyond that, it's up to your team to participate in any additional training activities. Mostly you can initiate this on your own with management approval.

Receive almost all online training. Would prefer to have more face to face opportunities.
Graduate, Melbourne - 22 Jan 2020
I have not been able to sign up for the training courses that I've wanted as spots fill up too quickly... So, a little disappointed in this department. Informal training varies wildly it totally depends on your own motivation to find similarly motivated co-workers otherwise you can find yourself in a situation where even though you are junior you are the only person who understands what you do. In the end I have found quality informal training but this is not reliable in the technical areas
Graduate, Melbourne - 21 Jan 2020
The training will be learning on the job as you're given task to do. Feel free to reach out to your manager if you need help.
Midlevel, Sydney - 21 Jan 2020
Access to training platforms is provided, and formal training is often offered. Informal training is easily accessible, and it is usually easy to request time to spend doing self-learning if relevant to the job.
Midlevel, Melbourne - 21 Jan 2020
OJT is a large part of any engineer's training. There is some formal technical training.
Midlevel, Melbourne - 21 Jan 2020
Not many explicit training programs, but there is a lot of self-learning opportunities
