I have been told that the move to senior is a couple of year process and the easiest of the transitions. Beyond that, the city would require that position to be filled before moving any further.

KPMG has a strong emphasis on giving back to the community and the Adelaide firm in particular has done a lot of work to recognize the indigenous community. There are also volunteer days where you are able to take a day off to go and help out at an organisation or project of your choice or one that they organise.

Most people are very approachable and friendly, even partners and senior managers. Everyone seems to work together to get things done, no matter what level in the hierarchy there are.

Very approachable. I always feel like I can ask questions or for informal feedback. Formal feedback is a little harder to acquire.

Was pretty average to begin, but with the refurb it is excellent. The move the agile working seems to really work so far. Dress code is business corporate Monday - Thursday. Fridays are casual, however I do not dress down too drastically in case of a last minute client meeting.

I was asked a lot of questions about how I would practically deal with certain situations in the workplace. For instance, if I had to deal with conflict with a client or with a colleague. Also questions as to what I could bring to the company with my particular skillset. I would recommend that they familiarise themselves with the company and what they do and that they prepare answers to possible interview questions. Be confident and show that you can easily get along with people because I think that goes far.

We occasionally have free lunches. There are sporadic social drinks on Friday afternoons (average around 1 every 6 weeks). Excellent volunteer day program and a social club that has events you can pay for and attend.

A few different training sessions provided for each position - most pretty helpful, a few brief and not so important sessions. Monthly team day including training sessions. Multiple training sessions for each Chartered Accountant unit in-house - however not completely aligned to CA units and teachings.

During the busy parts of the year, you can work very longs hours. I have not been around long enough to truly check the flexibility

After going paperless we have significantly reduced the heavy reliance on printing which I believe is one of the best ways to help out the environment.
