I enjoy my work however there is a learning curve as there is with any job. They build you from the very ground up. This is fantastic for your learning but can be frustrating when you are doing simple tasks.

Assisting directors with their deliverables on engagements.

Meeting with clients and taking minutes, carrying out testing, processing expenses for senior managers

I do technology risk assurance, or technology audits. This includes auditing the technology systems underpinning the work of KPMG's external audit.

Completing testing both control and substantive in an audit

I assist consultants, senior consultants and managers on jobs for various clients. I also perform business development work which is assigned to me.

My role is to assist the audit team out at the client. I complete basic audit activities such as control testing and the testing of simpler accounts such as treasury. I have to communicate with the client and my team to achieve my objectives

Changes week to week. Primarily External Audits with internal audit, advisory and security work filling the gaps.

Varied roles in Audit and Advisory, day-to-day consists of client meetings, fieldwork and reporting.

I go out on audits of businesses, mostly to perform testing and substantive procedures.

I provide tax consultancy assistance through review and preparation of company tax returns and sometimes with the provision of tax advice. However, I mainly do administrative tasks, such as billing and risk forms.

Responsible for completing fieldwork on different engagements including interviewing key personnel, documenting work papers, completing controls testing and writing engagement report.

As a new graduate I am exposed to a range of new clients and work. My main responsibilities are to draft client reports/documentation and to research functional analyses of both clients businesses and the industry in which they function.

I am an accountant so I am responsible for performing audit procedures and liaising with clients. I often am responsible for training more junior team members and assisting the in-charge.

Actually putting my degree to use is nice. Working as part of a team on valuations or external peer reviews is rewarding and a great learning experience.
