7.1 rating for Working Hours, based on 37 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
During the busy parts of the year, you can work very longs hours. I have not been around long enough to truly check the flexibility

Very flexible. I have been able to complete my studies whilst employed and all managers are extremely supportive of this, and adapting my work hours around my commitments at Uni.

Standard work hours currently. Have been informed that additional hours may be required during peak periods. Somewhat flexible if you need to change work hours.

During the interim period and outside of busy season (July to October) work hours our reasonably relaxed. 8 30 until 5 - 5 30 is the normally but during busy season it's expected that some nights you'll have to stay until your work is finished. The focus is less on hours worked and more about the quality and amount of work done. If you were able to complete your work by 5 30 every day and nobody else in your team was struggling to make a deadline it would be reasonable for you to go home.

Pretty good. Not what you hear about the 'big 4 culture'. Generally as long as you get your work done there is no expectation about how long you have to stay. I'm always out at 6.

You do have to work hard in this company, especially the Audit division. However there is a side of this that is very good for your development. I think it is essential to work hard if you want to progress your career. I still manage to not work too much over time.

Outside of busy season (leading up to June 30) it seems pretty laid back, come in 0830 and leave at 5. During busy season and during strict project deadlines, you need to just pull up your socks and deal with the long hours.

Working hours are set at a certain amount however I spend more hours than needed to provide the best quality of work that I can. Some weeks I work more than I have to some I don't - it varies with workloads.
Graduate, Sydney - Invalid Date
Work 37 to 40 hours a week. Company is somewhat flexible with hours provided certain work is completed.
Graduate, Perth - Invalid Date
8:45 - 5; occasional overtime (5-10 hrs./month) depending on engagement scheduled on
Entry level, Perth - Invalid Date
Work hours can be a lot during busy season when there are deadlines. The company is good about giving you study time for CA and realising that even one night a week of not working super late can really help you.
Graduate, Perth - Invalid Date
The hours are 8.45-5 and this is not negotiable. Most weeks I work under 40 hours but occasionally I work up to 57 hours.
Graduate, Perth - Invalid Date
Generally it is 8.45-6, sometimes later, sometimes earlier. The company is very flexible to your personal needs
