Our employer is involved in organising a number of charity events and regularly encourages employee to get involved.

Graduate volunteer day at a teen rehab facility was great fun. Always heaps of projects and days organised to volunteer if you are available. 7.5 hours allocated yearly to have the chance to join.

KPMG has a strong emphasis on giving back to the community and the Adelaide firm in particular has done a lot of work to recognize the indigenous community. There are also volunteer days where you are able to take a day off to go and help out at an organisation or project of your choice or one that they organise.

Division wide volunteer hours given- our division did a volunteer day at a wildlife park. Are also programs for mentoring high school children etc. I have been involved in a reading program with primary school aged children.

We support many different charities and events such as the Active City to Surf and the Starlight Foundation Great Adventure challenge. We raise money through other means such as casual Friday. We also all complete one day a year of community service where we work in groups to make food for Perth's homeless or renovate a charity premises or plant trees/assist with gardening.
