Salary at KPMG AU -changed

For the hours worked, salary is not great however you don't work at a big4 firm for the starting salary.

No bonuses that I've heard of and the starting salary is good not amazing.

Coming in I though the progression through pay grades was a lot quicker and that the pay would get higher quite quickly. I have been informed bonuses are few and far between.

Bonus has a good arrangement in my team. I understand different teams within KPMG work differently

Pay could be better considering you can find junior roles that do not require a degree that pay as much, if not more, than this role.

The general training provided and CA training provided are priceless and therefore the salary is slightly low however the experiences that you have are also invaluable.

Good at a graduate level, not enough evidence of bonuses or pay rises in the future unless there is a jump in position

We occasionally have free lunches. There are sporadic social drinks on Friday afternoons (average around 1 every 6 weeks). Excellent volunteer day program and a social club that has events you can pay for and attend.

The social events and audit drinks are the best, as well as client and non-client lunches and social events. We also get awards for exceptional performance with monetary values attached that we are able to select gift vouchers for.

food and taxis working past certain hours

Getting to charge taxis after 7pm back from the office, dinners if you work after 8.

Loads of social club events - you have to pay $150 annually for membership, but it works out cheaper than if you have to fork out for drinks/dinner on your own.

They will entirely pay for your CA program and have in house training for which they put time aside. There are normally team lunches or dinners and most expenses that are incurred getting out to clients etc. are paid back by the company.
