For our Economic Analysis stream, we are looking for graduates to help us produce a range of economic statistics which inform government policy.

Graduates in our Data Science stream will work in our Statistical Data Integration Division which is responsible for bringing existing information together to create new integrated data assets for the benefit of the Australian community.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is Australia's national statistical agency. We provide trusted official statistics on a wide range of economic, social, population and environmental matters of importance to Australia.

Graduates in our Corporate stream will support the rest of the ABS business in the areas of either communications, human resources or finance.

As a graduate in our Population & Social Statistics stream you will help deliver statistics on a range of topics.

Graduates in our Data Acquisition stream will help our National Data Acquisition Centre to manage business and household survey contact activities, develop future ABS survey instruments, processes and data provider management strategies.

As an ICT graduate you will help provide services to develop applications and support/ manage the statistical and corporate technology needs of the ABS, including the ABS Statistical Business Transformation Program.

This program is designed to provide undergraduate university students the opportunity to gain industry experience while completing their qualification.

The Technology and Security Division is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Information Technology service to the ABS

The ABS is looking for highly motivated graduates from a wide array of disciplines and life experiences, who want to play a part in shaping Australia's future and informing the decision making process.
