We are looking for graduates who have excellent analytical and communication skills, are agile and innovative, and have a passion to make a difference.

We are recruiting graduates for the following streams:

  • Statistical Analysis and Research
  • Methodology
  • Information Communication & Technology
  • Corporate - Affirmative Measures (Indigenous) only

Graduates will be placed in an ongoing role and will undertake a 9 month development program. Graduates will participate in on-the-job training specific to their role which will continue to build their analytical, conceptual and critical thinking, while enhancing their statistical capability. This is supplemented by a structured training program; a mixture of virtual, self-paced and group learning activities.

You will also undertake a graduate project (in small groups) with each project sponsored by a Director or Senior Executive Service member. They will present their project work to our Senior Executives, sponsors and stakeholders at the end of the Graduate Development Program.

Cons

    • Career advancement opportunities are lacking.

    • Sometimes the 'hot desking' set up can be distracting. But it's not always so.

    • Restrictions involving bureaucracy/red tape. Current difficulties caused by adjustments to decreasing budget.

    • The tall hierarchy which limits an individual's agency and ability to work independently.

    • head office in another city, meaning that work opportunities in my office can be limited.
