After having been at a graduate level for nearly 2.5 years, I feel there is not a lot of recognition of career progression, and we are slightly underpaid compared to other civil engineering industries. This may/may not change following my next salary review.
Graduate, Brisbane - 30 Oct 2017
Graduate salaries need to be a little more competitive
Graduate, Newcastle - 30 Oct 2017
No bonuses as far as I am aware. The pay could be higher but I did start at a lower level when I joined the company - I believe it would be fairly typical pay for someone at my level
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Oct 2017
Believe the salary is generally consistent with industry, and those who work hard receive bonuses when the company is flourishing
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Oct 2017
The pay is pretty fair, relatively.
Graduate, Adelaide - 30 Oct 2017
Haven't had anything to do with this as of yet
Graduate, Sydney - 30 Oct 2017
My company has taken the initiative to give me a pay rise as they saw the amount of work I had been putting in.
Midlevel, Melbourne - 30 Oct 2017
My starting salary was fair but I haven't received any other kind of pay rise or bonuses since I started, even though my team was very busy last year and we were exceeding expectations financially.
Graduate, Melbourne - 30 Oct 2017
Decent starting point but unpaid hours are rough
Midlevel, Sydney - 30 Oct 2017
Don't know much about this
Graduate, Auckland - 30 Oct 2017
My pay has only increased marginally in 2 years, despite being told frequently that I am performing way beyond expected for someone of my level. My pay does not reflect my level of responsibility or the hours I put in. My pay is not on par with many of my friends in different companies. There are no bonuses that I am aware of.
Graduate, Melbourne - 25 Oct 2017
About standard for graduate role
Graduate, Brisbane - 23 Oct 2017
Pay is fair for the work put in.
Graduate, Newcastle - 20 Oct 2017
It would be nice if we received more over time pay for longer days, we often don't get paid anything extra for the extra hours we put in, it does add up quickly!
Graduate, Sydney - 18 Oct 2017
Slightly above average graduate salary. No knowledge of bonuses
Graduate, Sydney - 18 Oct 2017
I am not at work for the money but for the education. I am not familiar with bonuses however believe they are rewarded where required
Graduate, Sydney - 18 Oct 2017
The pay is acceptable for an entry level position. I want to know what is required of me to receive a pay rise when I renew my contract.
Graduate, Melbourne - 18 Oct 2017
Difficult to get a pay rise when within the company
Graduate, Sydney - 17 Oct 2017
I believe there is an annual review...not sure yet.
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Oct 2017
Bonuses don't exist in consulting. You negotiate your pay at the end of each year and it is competitive with anyone else with my experience in the industry
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Oct 2017
