Through the GRADS you will:

  • have the opportunity to learn about public service and contribute to a variety of exciting initiatives;
  • undertake three roles in different departments and/or agencies;
  • be guaranteed apposition and promotion on successful completion of the 12-mmonth program;
  • receive structured training throughout the year that is designed to equip you with the skills you need;
  • be part of a large cohort with the opportunity to take part in numerous social activities; and
  • be fast tracked to a successful career in public service.

The GRADS Aboriginal pathway provides culturally appropriate guidance and support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants through the recruitment and selection process for the GRADS. You'll be supported by Aboriginal staff and experienced professionals during the recruitment process and your VPS career.
