Salvos Legal Intern (PLT): Corporate & Commercial Law - Sydney

Salvos Legal is an award-winning, not-for-profit law firm specialising in property and commercial law. Owned and operated by the Salvation Army, Salvos Legal funds the work of Salvos Legal Humanitarian – a sister law firm that provides pro-bono advice and assistance to the most disadvantaged and marginalised members of our communities.

Salvos Legal is offering full-time internships in Corporate and Commercial Law to PLT students or graduate solicitors (volunteers). Interns assist staff in a broad range of corporate advisory, banking & finance and general commercial work.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Good attention to detail and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with pressure to deliver work to high standards and tight deadlines
• Ability to serve legal clients with a high level of skill, initiative, discretion and judgment
• Team player with energy, flexibility and integrity

Applicants must be available Monday to Friday during business hours and willing to make a minimum commitment of four months from the date of commencement. This is a volunteer position.
