We have some incredible people who work within our organisation who consistently push everyone to be not only aware but also active in the multitude of issues surrounding diversity. We still have various ways in which we can improve but we are always pushing ourselves to improve.

I don't feel that ensuring diversity is something we are hyper aware of within the core office team - mainly because everyone who has been hired has been done so based on earning and displaying their merit and no other reason. For our internships and leadership positions, we do try and maintain a mix of genders, universities, cultural backgrounds, etc. Currently majority of our senior leaders are female, but that's purely based on them being the right fit for the role and earning their position, as has been the case with male dominated leadership in the past.

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
Unfortunately, not a lot due to the large cost barrier to be able to go through our higher level pathways.

We have partnerships with a range of universities from around Australia to enable a range of course credit, funding and grant opportunities for their students. Whilst we can't lower the cost of our internships, we do advertise to all university students and help them to access uni funds to supplement the fees.
