Very strong hierarchical culture as opposed to a horizontal team structure.

Project team is very social, only struggle is long hours reduce people's ability or motivation to socialise out of hours as they just want to go home to their families.

We are part of a very team orientated and social group. There is a strong team atmosphere on a day to day basis particularly within project teams, together with a strong social culture after hours.

Teams whether large or small work in both small teams and the greater overall team. There are a lot of initiatives to get people interacting both inside and outside the office. Some great opportunities outside the office include PT, community initiatives and sporting events

The culture is great and the team environment is very inclusive.

Strong social life with work colleagues outside work hours, firm structured hierarchy from head office, great team working environment and corporation from a site perspective.

Teams work hard - and this often means long hours - however the teams are loyal, and always up for a team outing when the occasions arise.
Graduate, Sydney - 16 Feb 2018
Great culture, lots of social interaction and team bonding.

The company's culture is great. They strongly promote team building activities. I have been involved in karaoke, golf day, mini golf, country races, dinners, and trips to the pub. You will always find people hanging back on Friday to socialise. Many of my work colleagues, I would considered friends and have spent time with them outside of work.

The Structure and Hierarchy of my team is very even. Every member of our Senior Management Team makes all other team members feel valued and important. This encourages junior Team Members to ask questions, seek guidance and learn from knowledgeable team members. I feel like I have been given all the guidance and support I need to develop a successful career. The social culture of a team is dependent on what Project you are on, as each Project Culture is different. On my project, this could probably improve. As my team is a team of roughly 35 people of all different ages it is much more difficult to arrange social events compared to a team of 15 people. However Friday team socialising could maybe be encouraged more. However the social culture amongst the Graduates is great. My Graduate Cohort organizes social catch ups roughly once a month.

Collaborative company with a strong focus on effective communication. Strong teamwork and openness are a good asset to the team which flows into socializing outside of work time. There is also a strong culture around having fun at work.

Overall the culture within the site teams is really good and everyone is supportive through the final months of completing a project working together as a team. It's great to also have the social events outside business hours to allow employee to build friendships and acknowledge everyone personal life such as their families and hobbies.
Graduate, Melbourne, Vic - 12 Feb 2018
Previous site had better culture that created a more enjoyable environment despite the sometime adverse conditions. Culture on current project slightly uncertain and I don't know where I stand after 5 months.

Within the office the company is quite influenced by the stress that everyone is under. It means people have bad moods, tensions do form in this environment and it is visible to me especially as a graduate (beginner). The hierarchy is modeled a little like an army in the fact that there is a chain of command and with that comes status. Teamwork is quite good in the fact that everyone doesn't shy away from helping anyone else. In the end what motivates the team is seeing the building get built well.

Our office has a good culture both during office hours and after. We have a relatively small team so everyone is familiar with each other and with each others Roles and Responsibilities. We have had a few out of office team building afternoons which I believe helps the team's morale. What also helps is that the team enjoys socialising together outside of work hours and having a beer.
