Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
A diverse mixture of employees. After work drinks on Fridays. Cooperation and teamwork encouraged. Reasonable working hours.

Lendlease encourages diversity and culture

There is a clear hierarchy, however no one is put down according to their position. Everyone works well with myself and is willing to spend time helping. There are some social outings which we all participate in and enjoy

It's pretty awesome, great culture. A bit of a disconnect between head office ('carpet land') and the site team though.

As the project has only recently started and there is a lot of new people, the team culture has only begun to develop. The team has had a bonding golf day which went quite well. More team bonding events are probably needed to help the team meld together. There is some office politics which does intimidate some of us in the team. .

Lendlease has a fantastic culture and socialisation, health and wellbeing are all extremely important to Lendlease. They're constantly coming up with new ways to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees and employee satisfaction. They promote a good work-life balance and other healthy behaviours. They also hold a social event on each floor every couple of months for employees to socialise, enjoy drinks and canapes - the food here for all training events etc is always great!! Lendlease have all these great voluntary leadership training programs and things like that for employees who have been here a bit longer too and are really good with flexible working hours/working from home etc. They also are really keen to do their bit for the community and we have the annual community day coming up soon. Lendlease is really supportive of all its staff which is reflected in our managers and people leaders. You'll find you're given equal importance, with leaders and new starters working side by side.

Our site has a good structure and teamwork but the social side of the office is lacking due to our distance from Lendlease events in Sydney.

Structure is very rigid - you know your supervisors personally up multiple levels. Teamwork is good - everyone is available for advice and integrates well. Social events happen both formally and informally on a regular basis.

Large group of people, difficult for people to function with very long hours and sustained pressure.
Midlevel, Sydney - 19 Jul 2016
Up and down depending on need. Large Corporation with associated politics.

Everyone at lendlease is 'available'. even senior mgmt is accessible to the smallest individual. Socialising is great at head office - site based work is a little different.

The culture in the office all depends where you are located. The culture in my particular office is very enjoyable and makes work easier to be at and go to. However my manager is very unreasonable and creates unnecessary work that is not required. My manager makes the culture of the office very sad and depressing when she is at the office rather than at head office. She is demanding and argumentative.

The culture is very strong, welcoming and supportive at all times.

The company is amazing in terms of helping its employees. Allows flexible working conditions, hours and focuses on wellbeing.

There appears to be minimal socialising among colleagues but that may be the environment I work in. I work in a remote location by myself so it is difficult to answer this question.

Very supportive and friendly staff that have made me feel included in the team. Not as much interaction after hours but that can be due to personal commitments of older demographic.

For the most part the culture in our office is very good. The majority of people get on well with each other and spend time chatting and joking through the day. Work still remains a priority but people generally make time to catch up with each other. We have only held one function outside of work in my time but it was a very good night. The entire business unit from the receptionist through to the GM interacted with each other and we all seemed to enjoy ourselves.

Great team atmosphere on site. The higher level managers from the office make the effort to learn your name.

Good culture and really good people. The long hours of the job itself means that I often overlook after hours events because the last thing I want to do with my limited spare time is spend it with people that I associate with my job. Having said that there's good events, epic Xmas party and plenty of great people that work here.

There is a very inclusive culture. It is common to go for drinks after work at the end of the week. It is also common to get coffee/lunch with colleagues. Collaboration is a core value and so teamwork is definitely part of every day.
