John Holland is a fully integrated infrastructure and property group. Operating across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia, we have been transforming city skylines, connecting regional centres and providing vital infrastructure for more than six decades. In addition, we provide contemporary, flexible commercial development solutions that enhance workplace productivity and user experience and are moving into development of residential and mixed-use buildings and precincts for vibrant communities. Our Development in-house capability covers the entire lifecycle and includes site acquisition, design management, development management and asset transactions.
Our John Holland Global Graduate Program provides an opportunity to gain well-rounded experience both in technical and soft skills, whilst working for one of Australia's leading and most diverse engineering, construction and services providers. We are proud that many of our past graduates are now in various senior roles throughout the business and we look forward to developing the next leader in you.
Throughout the two-year program you will be supported through soft skills development, on-the-job experience and training, and opportunities to build lasting relationships with senior leaders representing John Holland's diverse operations. Our projects are located in both metropolitan and regional areas, so it is essential that you are prepared to relocate if required.
As a Property Development Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Property team across all aspects of business to give you exposure to business development activities such as feasibility analysis and preparation of site acquisition bid submissions, investment committee papers, as well as the delivery stage day-to-day management of our active developments. This will involve preparation of monthly reports such as Project Control Group Reporting, financial modelling and financial and management reports of active developments. It will also include exposure to the role we take in delivery including development applications and development planning, design management and construction management as well as marketing, leasing and sales.
The role is designed to give you the opportunity to gain property development, design and construction experience; new business, and development management activities. Through the Property Development Graduate Program, you will develop a well-rounded understanding of the delivery lifecycle of a development.

Working for a rail business means there is a need for night shifts, weekend shifts and long periods of long shifts. It is not all the time, but it is also not a rare occurrence.
