Throughout the two-year program you will be supported through soft skills development, on-the-job experience and training, and opportunities to build lasting relationships with senior leaders representing John Holland's diverse operations. Our projects are located in both metropolitan and regional areas, so it is essential that you are prepared to relocate if required.

As a Finance Graduate, you are offered the opportunity to get a breadth of experience across Management and Financial Reporting, Asset Management, Treasury Management and Project Reporting. Finance and Group Services provides the framework for reporting, compliance and governance within John Holland. As business partners, the information provided from reporting enables informed strategic decisions to be made regarding the operations of the business.

The role will see you assisting the Finance and Accounting team in maintaining financial, accounting and administration to meet procedural, statutory and corporate standards. This will involve preparing income and balance sheet statements and prepare and/or consolidate other accounting statements and reports as required. In addition, you will support the development of operating budgets using data supplied, such as actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue and expense reports. You will also assist with prepare variance analysis on financial information and maintain records of operating performance for comparison with estimated budgets. This role will also offer you challenging and diverse opportunities to rotate between Corporate Finance and Project Finance so that you develop a broad skillset.
