Operations & Quality IBL

We are looking for passionate, high-performing and motivated students to join our Industry Based Learning Program commencing in January 2019. This 6-month program enables penultimate and final year undergraduate students to gain valuable work experience in a global pharmaceutical business. As an Operations or Quality Assurance Intern at GSK you will gain experience across the safety, quality and service areas of the Global Manufacturing and Supply business. In this role you will be integral in driving the continuous improvement agenda across workstations, identifying problems and assisting to solve them. You will assist in efficiency improvement projects, capital projects and supporting new product introductions. You will be exposed to compliance related activities such as audits, safety assessments and quality risk assessments. You may also be involved in equipment validation protocol and report writing.

Why you?

• You must be in your penultimate or final year of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical Engineering or related degree upon commencement of the program in January 2020
• An interest in pursuing a career in the pharmaceutical industry is favourable
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with initiative and an eagerness to learn
• High attention to detail, rigor and process, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent project management, to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
• Ability to quickly build strong internal & external networks

Applications close 1st November. Our recruitment process involves eligibility and motivation questionnaire at application, online testing, video interview and face to face interview. We're keen to see applications from students studying a Bachelor's of Science and/or Engineering or a related field who will be in their final or penultimate year of study in 2020.
