Managers have been great, very easy to get on with and talk too.

There is usually one direct contact managing you and your career - there should be more. I should be able to speak to and be represented by more than one person.

I personally haven't done a very good job of communicating with my manager which is something I want to improve but I believe they are accessible and are willing to make time for you.

Don't get mentored by my manager, they manage... I get mentored by a senior/mid level engineer. You don't get praise for doing your job.

The management shows a strong interest in my professional development and are good at motivating me by showing what I could be doing if I keep learning more and more.

Always accessible. Exceptional mentors. Monthly recognition and feedback. Yearly professional development discussions.

Managers are often very busy, and due to flat structure one person typically manages the entire group. However, if you can catch at a good time, senior engineers are willing to give time of day and give meaningful feedback, advice and recognition.

I have had issues with my manager due to their own personal issues and them being unreachable. but i have watched many others have fantastic relationships with their managers and I have found plenty of others to act as mentors. Just need to find someone to chat about performance feedback formally with my manager MIA.
Graduate, Sydney/ Brisbane - 29 Nov 2018
The team leaders and group managers are exceptional. The upper management are great at doing their job, but possibly too infrequently have the opportunity to talk to the base of the workforce.
Graduate, Melbourne - 29 Nov 2018
Manager is good. There is however no such thing as praise or recognitions
