There seems to be minimal structure when it comes to career progression, particularly within the ID discipline.

It appears there is a good path for progression across the company, but it remains unclear what responsibilities are added on at each level, and what salaries can be expected at each level. If I am not earning much more here over the next 5 years, should I stay or go?

The company has structures and plans in place to help employees move up the ranks, and in my role it is clear what the prospects are I just don't want to reach those prospects, hence the 5 rating. I have found that if you do good work most of the time, take in & apply feedback and learn from any errors you make, then people generally trust you more.

Initially just gaining experience and meeting a certain number of years means you move up a band. Opportunities to be involved in extracurricular activities or help with certain team activities.
