  • Don't find yourself confined to a desk, a unique grad role involving hands-on learning while out in the field!
  • Don't wait –full-time graduate program starting ASAP!

The Opportunity:

Calling all graduates or recent graduates interested in kick-starting their career in sales, business operations and leadership!
We have a brand new and exciting opportunity for a new or recent Business graduate (i.e. graduated within the last 3 years) to join our Graduate Sales Program.

Not only will you be given a unique chance to work as part of three of our various hard-working teams on consecutive rotations, you will be provided with ongoing training and development workshops and group events that will allow you to interact with your peers participating in other DuluxGroup graduate programs. The three rotations are:

  • In a supervisory role in Dulux Trade Centre (DTC) store;
  • On the road in a Sales Representative role;
  • In a corporate role in our Head Office.

Receiving assessments and feedback along the way, you will be supported to develop and grow but also encouraged to spread your wings and make the most of every opportunity you have. Following these rotations, you are placed in a permanent role within the DuluxGroup suited to your talents.

What you will bring and develop:

A motivated go-getter, you will have worked hard for your degree and will have achieved a Credit average or above.

You will be willing to explore different sales aspects of our business on our set three rotations – this will give you a solid understanding of our business and provide you with valuable foundations to continue building your sales career upon!

Our successful candidate will also demonstrate;

  • The confidence and desire to get out into the field and develop sales opportunities for Dulux Trade
  • Genuine desire to learn and understand our business from the ground up
  • Strong leadership qualities and ideally experience successfully leading a team
  • Confidence in interacting with people of all backgrounds
  • A go-getter attitude and confidence to give all opportunities a go

Please note, our successful candidate MUST have permanent working rights within Australia and present an academic transcript (attached in your application) demonstrating a Credit average or above

What our current graduates enjoy about the program:

"I like that my role is really diverse. There are no two days that are the same. Some days I am in store talking to our consumers and customers about our products, other days are spent talking with business owners about how Dulux can help them improve their procurement or service models to increase profitability or efficiencies in their own business, I could go on!"

"I really enjoy how empowered I am in this role. We are encouraged to 'run the business as our own' which means we really own our territory/account. Of course, this means you will make mistakes, however, we are trained and encouraged to figure out how we would go differently about things next time and always encouraged to continue learning and developing."

"The diversity in our customers means no two days are the same and for this reason, we are encouraged to be proactive, flexible and strategic. I've really enjoyed the focus on personal development the business has provided, which in turn continues to push me to be challenged and evolve the way in which I operate."
