Your role

As one of Australia's largest employers, the Army has a significant public profile that requires careful management. In this role you'll take charge of a small dynamic team that's critical to the public perception of the Army.

You will be the communications conduit between the Army and civilian networks, with responsibilities that include:

• developing communication strategies
• conducting media awareness training
• advising commanders on media-related matters
• gathering and managing Army video and imagery
• preparing press releases
• liaising with the media, and
• fulfilling escort and support duties.

Entry Requirements

• Australian Citizen
• An appropriate tertiary qualification
• Experience in PR, journalism, marketing or corporate communications
