Your role

Navy personnel benefit from world-class training. In this rewarding role you'll use your skills and experience in education or HR to help manage the training systems that give our people their vocational and military edge.

Working in a unique and supportive team environment you will be responsible for developing, managing, evaluating and coordinating a wide range of training delivery systems. You can expect to be employed in five broad areas:

• Training development and quality control
• Training management and governance
• Instructional/instructor development
• Training and education policy
• Training requirements for new capability

A key part of your role will be identifying competency needs in the context of the operational capability requirements of the Navy; and developing programs that will satisfy them.

Full training will be provided to help you contextualise your knowledge and experience to the Naval environment; and as a Navy Officer you will gain valuable managerial and leadership skills.

Salary

• Fully paid training
• Once trained, at least $66,500 p.a. package plus superannuation

Location

• Sydney NSW, Western Port VIC, Rockingham WA or in Jervis Bay or Canberra ACT
• You will also be given the opportunity to serve at sea

Entry Requirements

• Australian Citizen
• A degree or postgraduate diploma in adult vocational training and education, human resource development or education (secondary)
• At least 12 months practical or teaching experience
